WOD - 100 PushUps, 100 SitUps, 100 Double Unders, 100 SquatsChris Spealler - 3rd overall male, CF Games 2010.
Rope climbing, 1 legged squat and double under were some of the weaknesses revealed by athletes who were favourites to finish top 3 at these games - work your weaknesses! Be prepared for anything to come out of the hopper

Wednesday 14 Jul - 'Fight Gone Bad' - 3 Rnds - Wall Ball (8ft/10ft), Sumo Deadlift HighPull (25/35), Box Jump (50cm) Push Press (25/35) Row
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point. However as we do not have rowers (yet) we will sub in a shuttle run.

I am happy to lend KettleBells & Skipping Ropes to CF Darwin members for the time I am away. You can pick up Wednesday and return Sunday 1st or Monday 2nd Aug. That way I can add Kettlebells and Double Unders to the WOD's I post over the next 2 weeks!

Is everyone keen for a 5k run along the Fannie Bay Foreshore on Friday at 6pm? There will also be a 10k option for those who have a half marathon coming up in a couple of weeks? We will meet at the Cool Spot Cafe end of the track on the corner - start and finish spot is the same so you can leave water, keys etc there with me.

This is me at a Lifting Comp a few months ago. Darren Ellis is the judge from CFNZ making sure I break parallel in the Squat.
Standards are important.
They are what set us apart from all of the other fitness groups out there. We don't just work hard for 30 minutes to get a sweat up. We perfect our technique, work our weaknesses and take pride in our gains. Yeah the clock is important and it is great to beat our last time - but making sure every rep counts, every time, is what we are all about.
